The wood sculpture of David Nash in this exhibition charts his development as a sculptor. The selection is lively, and varied in scale, form, technique and finish, and the woods used range from Sussex Oak to Palm.
Contemporary Sculpture is set within the context of the Regency Assembly Room of Lewes Town Hall, and a new, monumental sculpture made from Sussex Oak especially for this exhibition will be shown amongst the trees in Lewes Grange Gardens.
The exhibition offers and unrivalled opportunity to see Nash's sculptures in the southeast.
